Moving On

Some of the densest learning I’ve done has happened in the last year and a half; personally, and equally important, professionally. So much so, that I hardly recognize pre-2018 Caleb.
The work I got to do with Brass Tacks is as rewarding as it is challenging. I am forever indebted to Keisha Whaley. Thank you Keisha, for taking me seriously when I knew I was in job that wasn’t healthy for me but wasn’t sure what I wanted. Thank you for hiring me, then answering a truly astounding number of questions, and for giving me opportunity after opportunity to try on different hats. Thank you for pushing me to be a better thinker and for your patience.
The fact that I have so deeply enjoyed my time with Brass Tacks made admitting to myself that I could or even should look for another job damn hard. The truth is, I am ready. Ready for new challenges and the growth that comes with them. Ready for the opportunity to learn from new people and develop my technical skills. Ready to encounter novel questions and think my way to solutions.
So here I go. If you or your company are looking for a UX Researcher or need someone for a position along those lines I’d love to chat.
